The Grain Belt Express EIS initiated public scoping in December 2022 and the scoping period ended on February 28, 2023.  This public scoping period was designed to introduce the study to agencies, stakeholders, tribes, and the public, and to solicit feedback on what topics should be addressed in the EIS.

DOE LPO hosted a series of virtual and in-person public meetings, scheduled from January 25 to February 2, 2023. The materials below were designed to provide those who were unable to attend these meetings with the opportunity to still receive the same information. As meeting attendance was not a requirement of providing comment, you may fill out our online form to submit your comments or you can reach out to us through the other methods listed on that page. While you may contact us anytime during the study process, please note that the scoping meeting comment period ended on February 28, 2023. Though the scoping meeting comment period is closed, we still welcome your feedback.
